May delivers both snow and tornadoes

May turned out to be typical for Nebraska, with touches of winter bringing snow to areas of the state and touches of spring bringing tornadic activity to others. May also saw dryness recede completely from the state, with mostly above-average precipitation recorded across Nebraska.
