Temperatures started the week off cool but warmed up quickly Tuesday. Temperatures continued to climb on Wednesday and many locations exceeded 90°F for the first time in 2025. Temperatures remained a bit above seasonal averages for the remainder of the week. Scattered showers fell across portions of eastern Nebraska on Sunday, June 8th but the remainder of the week was dry in the eastern half of the state. The western side of the state saw more active weather with some areas picking up additional beneficial moisture and some severe weather in the Panhandle.
